Yoga Republic

Yoga Republic, founded by Australian teacher Jack Farras, is at Blue Tree Phuket on Srisoonthorn Road in Cherngtalay, close to Bang Tao Beach. It has two designed studios – one heated with far-infrared panels to around 38–39°C, the other unheated – plus showers, free mats, towel rental, a juice and coffee bar and indoor and outdoor lounges.

The hot room hosts a 65-minute, 26-posture Hot Yoga class following the Bishnu Ghosh lineage, a Silently Hot class for experienced students and HHIP 50, a hot high-intensity mat Pilates session. The second studio runs Fusion Flow (Vinyasa blended with other styles), Gentle Flow and Yin. Classes suit beginners through to advanced students.

A single class costs ฿740, and a ten-day consecutive holiday pass is ฿2,980; there are also class packs and unlimited memberships. Yoga Republic is a Yoga Alliance-registered school running a 200-hour teacher training over weekends.
