Ananda Yoga & Detox Center sits on the north-west coast of Koh Phangan, close to the main town and ferry pier. Alongside its detox programmes and teacher trainings it runs public drop-in classes, in partnership with Yama Yoga Studios, across three purpose-built studios, including an open-sided hall and a sea-view deck.
The timetable is busy for an island studio. Most days start with meditation and pranayama, followed by Vinyasa and a dedicated Beginners Yoga class mid-morning, with Ashtanga and Mysore sessions on some mornings. Afternoons bring aerial classes and a daily Yin and restorative session, and evenings add sound baths and yoga nidra. Hatha and Tibetan sound healing run on Sundays.
A 75–90 minute class costs ฿400 and a 45-minute class ฿200; aerial and breathwork are ฿500 and not covered by class cards. A 6-class card is ฿2,150 and a 12-class card ฿3,950, both valid three months, and a ฿4,500 monthly membership includes unlimited yoga plus the pool, steam room and ice bath. Mats and props are provided, and herbal tea is served after class. Book on Momence.
Prices and timetables change. Check with the studio before you go.
