SAARAH Day Spa runs a small yoga programme at its main branch in Maguwoharjo, north-east Sleman, near the Sheraton. Classes take place in a studio set in the spa's garden and are taught by a certified coach.
The one-hour, all-levels classes are on Wednesdays at 8am and Saturdays at 10am. The price includes a mat, a welcome drink and water. Many people combine a class with a treatment: the spa sells yoga-plus-facial and yoga-plus-massage packages at a lower price than booking them separately.
The spa has an English-language website and caters for many foreign visitors. Book by WhatsApp. SAARAH also has a second spa on Jl. Prawirotaman, but the yoga classes are held only at the main branch.
