Gili Yoga runs its classes in a garden shala tucked behind Freedive Gili, next to the Banyan Tree Cafe, a short walk from the Gili Trawangan harbour. The site also has nine grass-roof bungalows and a 25m pool, but the classes are open to anyone on the island.
The timetable is simple: a 60-minute Sunrise Flow at 8.30am most days and a 5pm class that rotates between Vinyasa, Yin, Hatha and restorative styles. Every class is pitched at all levels, and teachers demonstrate options and use blocks, bolsters and straps to make poses accessible, so complete beginners are welcome.
There is no pre-booking for group classes; sign in and pay at the front office ten minutes before the start. Mats and props are provided, filtered water is available, and cash or card is accepted. Multi-class cards (3, 5 or 10 classes) bring the per-class price down, and private sessions can be arranged a day in advance.
