Gudang Gudang Yoga opened on Jalan Kemang Timur Raya in April 2014 and has become one of Kemang's best-known yoga studios. The building pairs modern industrial design with a traditional Javanese joglo set in a tropical garden, and the main studio, where most public classes run, has large glass doors that open onto it. A rooftop studio hosts special early-morning, afternoon and evening sessions.
Daily classes cover vinyasa, hatha and yin, and are aimed at all levels, including people new to yoga. The studio also runs its own yoga school for those who want to train as teachers, and rents out its spaces for workshops and events.
On site there is a café and eatery, waiting areas, showers and toilets, and free parking. The studio is open every day: Monday to Friday 6:30am to 9pm, and weekends 6:30am to 6pm. It notes that Monday is the quietest day and weekends are the busiest, so book ahead for weekend classes. One expat guide puts weekday classes at around Rp 100,000.
Prices and timetables change. Check with the studio before you go.
