Ubud Yoga House is a small studio among the rice fields off Jalan Subak Sokwayah, about a 10 to 15 minute walk from Ubud's main road. Access is on foot or by motorbike only. Free tea, coffee and lemon water are laid out for students, and the Pukako café is on site.
Classes run Monday to Saturday; the studio is closed on Sundays. Each day starts with Sunrise Yoga from 7:30 to 9am, followed by slow vinyasa flow or Yoga for Beginners, then yin yoga, Yoga Stretch & Release or guided meditation. The studio runs an all-levels philosophy and suits beginners in particular. It also runs a small-group 200-hour Yoga Alliance teacher training.
There is no pre-booking or prepayment: classes are first come, first served, so arrive 15 minutes early. A single drop-in costs Rp 185,000, with 3-, 5-, 10- and 20-class cards and a 30-day unlimited pass for Rp 2,500,000. KITAS holders and Indonesians pay Rp 100,000, and Balinese students pay by cash donation. Mats and props are included, and cash and cards are accepted.
