Radiantly Alive

Radiantly Alive is one of Ubud's best-known yoga studios, on Jalan Jembawan in the centre of town. It describes itself as a community as much as a studio, under the motto 'Come for yoga, stay for family', and it also runs a large programme of 200- and 300-hour teacher trainings, retreats and online classes.

The public timetable is broad. Power vinyasa and other flow classes sit alongside hatha, yin, gentle morning flow, mindfulness and meditation, yoga nidra and many sound healing sessions. Most classes are open to all levels, and drop-ins are welcome.

Class passes are valid for 60 days. A single class costs Rp 180,000 (Rp 120,000 with a KTP or KITAS), with 3-, 5-, 10- and 20-class passes and unlimited passes from Rp 1,320,000 a week or Rp 3,000,000 a month. Balinese students practise by donation. Arrive on time: anyone more than 10 minutes late loses the class credit, although it can be used for another class within two days.
