Intuitive Flow

Intuitive Flow is a small, long-established yoga studio in Penestanan, the hillside village just west of central Ubud. The red studio building is reached on foot along village paths past rice fields, and it is known for the wide views over the treetops from the practice room.

The studio runs up to six classes a day. The timetable includes a Basic Yoga class for beginners, hatha, vinyasa flow, prana yoga, restorative and yin, plus yoga nidra and meditation. Teachers are a mix of international and Balinese instructors, all of whom teach in English, and the studio puts a lot of weight on a warm, family-style atmosphere and a spiritual approach to the practice.

Payment is cash only. A regular drop-in costs Rp 150,000 (Rp 120,000 for members), and class cards cost Rp 550,000 for five, Rp 1,000,000 for ten and Rp 1,350,000 for fifteen, each valid for 30 days. Indonesian residents pay Rp 65,000. The studio also runs teacher trainings, and the website gives walking and motorbike directions.
